Investing in Farm Machinery Step by Step Enlarging the Agribusiness
Karen Barseghyan has a small farm in Azat Community of RA Gegharquniq Region. He has been an ECLOF client for the last four years and since a last year he has benefited from ECLOF loan landing program.
Karen and his large family are engaged in cattle farming and agriculture. All of the family members are seeking and hard working.
As for the benefit of his family Karen set goals and took appropriate measures for their implementation. That’s why he turned to ECLOF.
The trainings which we conducted with him raised the awareness of the fact how to purposefully use the money he borrowed, investing in income generating projects minimizing on unnecessary spending or waste.
Karen used his first borrowed loans for purchasing dairy cows and for constructing barns. Then he used his loan to invest in agricultural machinery․
That’s to say that he step by step enlarged his small agribusiness.
The aim of purchasing an excavator rose from the need of community. In this community there isn’t ever farm machinery like this. So Karen invested his loan by purchasing the excavator. Now he is the one in the community who has the excavator. This machinery helps not only to relieve his agricultural burdens but also it makes possibility to make money.
Karen’s investment helped him to reach his goal during the short period of time and to provide his family needs.
Karen says “I’m so grateful to ECLOF for assisting me and giving the ability to achieve my small successes. I hope everyone who has some needs of making his first steps will turned to ECLOF and trusting that ECLOF will help them and make difference in their lives”.
